August 2020 – Present

As one of four full-time members of Sanomind's team, I am the lead developer of a cross-platform mobile app written in React Native. A small startup, Sanomind is a platform with free audio content from licenced mental health experts.

Technology Team Intern, Team Rubicon
June – August 2020

I evaluated and provided detailed recommendations to improve the online user experience of Team Rubicon, a disaster-relief non-profit organization. Throughout the course of the summer, I proposed, designed, and deployed surveys, analyzed data using Python and R, interviewed volunteers, and implemented UX improvements using HTML/CSS/JavaScript. Finally, I presending my findings and recommendations to all staff and produced a proposal of research-based improvements.

Teaching Assistant/Mentor, Pomona College CS Dept
August 2019 – May 2020

After taking only one CS course at Pomona College, I was hired as a mentor, assisting students in Python during weekly lab and drop-in mentoring hours. Typical tasks included answering questions, reviewing concepts from class, and debugging code.

About

I am a rising junior and Computer Science major at Pomona College. My passion for CS revolves around using technology to help people and enact positive change in the world! Currently, I am taking a leave of absense but am planning to return in the Spring or Fall of 2021. At Pomona I play for the Pomona-Pitzer Soccer Team, write for the Claremont Journal of Medicine and Social Justice, and sing, write songs, and play keys and guitar in my band, INDGO.

In my free time you can find hiking, juggling (soccer balls, mostly), writing songs in my room, or getting myself to start a free online Machine Learning course I told myself I'd start one month ago.
